Information system “State cadastres of natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan”

State cadastres of natural resources is an automated system for collecting, organizing, storing, processing, and display of spatial-coordinated data on the state of the natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, analysis of these data for effective use in solving managerial, production and scientific tasks related to the protection, restoration and conservation of natural resources.
Currently this information system is in the test operation and its composition includes the following subsystems:
1) forest inventory subsystem
2) subsystem inventory of protected areas
3) Subsystem fauna cadastre
4) subsystem fish inventory
5) The block map data.
Levels of reporting for each of the subsystems:
– Local (level of forest, hatcheries, hunting and special protected areas);
– Regional;
– Republican
EC DPCG contains dynamic data on the 3778 inventory targets for the period from 2004 to 2012.
On the inventory objects have a description of the properties, as well as linking these data to the particular spatial location on the map to characterize the territory.
Forest Inventory subsystem provides information on forest condition assessment of economic activity, the distribution to its owners, the quantitative and qualitative state of the forest fund. The total number of objects: 138.
The information is presented in the form of the data of statistical forms of account “Form №1 – the distribution of forest lands into categories and “Annex 1 and 2 to form №1 – maintain records of the Committee for Forestry and Hunting; Deliverables enterprises (forestries).
Subsystem cadastre of specially protected natural territories contains information about the environmental, scientific, economic and administrative activities for all types of protected areas:
– State Nature Reserve;
– The State National Natural Park;
– National Natural Park;
– The State Botanical Garden;
– National Nature Reserve;
– State Nature Reserve;
– State natural monument;
– State buffer zone;
The information is presented in the form of the data of statistical forms of account “Form №1-PA” – the distribution of protected areas into functional zones and subzones; PA passport; reporting materials PA institutions; Reports of the Committee for Forestry and Hunting; The total number of objects: 312.
Subsystem fauna inventory contains information about the condition of the animal world in order to effectively control the use, protection and reproduction. The total number of objects: 669.
The information is presented in the form of the data of statistical forms of account “Form № 2 – hunting” – reports on Hunting; accounting materials regional territorial inspection of the Committee for Forestry and Hunting.
Subsystem of fish cadastre contains information on the status of water bodies and fisheries resources (currently contains more than 1,000 large object). The total number of properties: 2659.
The information is presented in the form of the data of statistical forms of account “Form №1 – 2 DRH” – reports on the activities of fisheries; fishery pond passport.
The block map data. Presented digital maps of Kazakhstan, scale 1: 1 000 000, 1: 200 000 topographic base vector thematic layers containing relevant information for each inventory:
— Areas of distribution of types of tree species;
— Areas of distribution of animal species;
— Public institutions of forestry;
— Hunting farms;
— Especially protected natural territories;
— Fisheries;
— Settlements;
— Lakes;
— Rivers;
— Administrative borders;
— Industrial facilities;
— Isolines of a relief;
— Land coverings;
— Communication lines;
— A car – and the railroads;
— Basins of the large rivers;
— Soils;
— Natural zones.
