Main objective of SFEI is the centralized collecting, the account and storage, distribution of environmental information. SFEI includes the following databases and registers:
-Register of emissions and transfer of pollutants and other registers of ecological information;
-List of ecologically hazardous productions;
-Data of ecological monitoring;
-Materials of environmental impact assessment on state ecological expertise with customer’s consent of the planned activity;
-Regulations and standard technical documentation in the area of environmental protection and use of natural resources;
-Reports on the research efforts and development work connected with environmental protection;
-Scientific-and-technical literature in the area of ecology and in the area ecological pure technologies;
-Other materials and documents containing ecological information.
State fund of environmental information
The state fund of ecological information represents system of collecting, systematization, updating, storage and distribution of ecological information in a printing and electronic format for effective use at the solution of the administrative, production, scientific tasks in accordance with environmental protection.
According to the Minister of environmental protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s order “About the State fund of ecological information” of November 13, 2009 No. 243-RSE “Information and Analysis Center of Environmental Protection” of the Ministry of environmental protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan carries out activity of State Fund of ecological information.
