IAC EIS to Participate in the Regional Environmental Summit RES 2026

On April 24, 2026, in Astana, the Regional Environmental Summit RES 2026 will take place, aimed at discussing current issues of environmental policy, sustainable development, and the introduction of modern technological solutions in the environmental sphere.

Representatives of government agencies, international organizations, the expert community, and business will participate in the summit, creating conditions for a comprehensive discussion of key areas of environmental management development.

As part of the business program, the General Director of the RSE on JSC “Information and Analytical Center for Environmental Protection” Kozhumov A.S. will take part in a panel session dedicated to the application of digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies in the environmental sphere.

It is planned that during the speech, issues of transforming the environmental management system in the context of digitalization, transition to data-based management, as well as the introduction of modern digital platforms and analytical tools will be considered.

Particular attention will be paid to the development of a unified environmental information system that integrates environmental monitoring data, automated emission control systems, and environmental reporting.

The role of artificial intelligence technologies as a tool for improving the efficiency of data analysis, timely identification of environmental risks, and support for management decision-making will also be discussed.
