Обучающий семинар по лабораторно-аналитическому контролю в г. Усть-Каменогорск
19.03.2026
From March 17 to 19, 2026, a professional development training seminar was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk for employees of testing laboratories of the territorial ecology departments of the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The seminar was organized as part of a program to develop the professional competencies of specialists performing laboratory and analytical monitoring in the field of environmental protection.
The seminar program focused on the practical fundamentals of using laboratory equipment for instrumental measurements of atmospheric air, industrial emissions, and vehicle exhaust gases.
During the training, participants examined in detail key aspects of organizing and conducting environmental monitoring, including sampling requirements, determining sampling points, testing methods, and processing the obtained results.
Particular attention was paid to the practical portion. Participants developed their skills in using modern instruments and equipment, including:
• gas analyzers for determining mass concentrations of pollutants in the atmospheric air;
• meteorological equipment for measuring air parameters;
• differential pressure gauges and equipment for determining the velocity and flow rate of gas flows;
• aspiration units for collecting particulate matter samples.
The seminar also covered instrumental measurements of industrial emissions, determining the toxicity and smoke content of vehicle exhaust gases, and documenting measurement results with the preparation of sampling reports and test protocols.
The training was conducted with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as leading experts in metrological and environmental monitoring.
The seminar allowed participants to improve their professional skills, strengthen their practical skills in using measuring equipment, and discuss current issues arising in the process of environmental monitoring.
